DODA, MAY 11: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda Krishan Lal today chaired a meeting to review preparedness and arrangements for the upcoming Census-2027 exercise in the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Anil Kumar Thakur; Assistant Commissioner Revenue; Accounts Officer DC Office; Nodal Officer Census/CEO; Tehsildars; Executive Officers of Municipal Council Doda, Municipal Committee Bhaderwah and Thathri, besides other concerned officers who joined through virtual mode.
Detailed discussions were held regarding the execution of different Census operations, manpower deployment, awareness generation and logistical arrangements required for the smooth conduct of the exercise.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of maintaining accuracy, transparency and efficiency during the Census process, terming it a vital exercise for effective planning and development. He further instructed the concerned officers to intensify public awareness and mobile people for active participation.
The meeting concluded with a detailed review of department-wise preparedness and directions for ensuring seamless execution of all Census-related activities across the district.
