Agriculture Department distributes Seedlings among students

BILLAWAR, APRIL 29: A plantation awareness and distribution programme was conducted today here at Government High School Danjasdhar, Government High School Sialna and Government High School Uchapind.

More than 2,000 cucurbits seedlings were distributed among nearly 300 students to encourage younger generation towards agriculture, encouraging them to develop interest, gain knowledge and explore agriculture as a viable entrepreneurial opportunity in the future. The seedlings were raised at the Vegetable Nursery, Uchapind.

The initiative was carried out with the active involvement of field functionaries, including AEA Pyt Danjasdhar Sanjeev Kumar, AEA Sialna Raman Sharma, AEA Uchapind Ravi Kumar and AEA Salore Rakesh Kumar, along with Social Worker Raj Kumar and Incharge Vegetable Nursery Uchapind Anil Gupta.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and staff, highlighting the importance of promoting agricultural awareness at the grassroots level.
