MAHORE, APRIL 22: Sub-Divisional Magistrate Mahore Shafqat Majeed Bhat today conducted an extensive visit to Block Chasana and inspected various government offices to review their functioning and ongoing developmental works.
At the BDO Office Chasana, the SDM reviewed the progress of the Panchayat Electoral Roll revision. Stressing the importance of accuracy and inclusivity, he directed the concerned officials to carry out the revision process with enhanced efficiency and precision. He also underscored the need to ensure wider public participation in Panchayat Electoral Roll camps so that all eligible citizens are duly enrolled.
During the visit, the SDM also inspected the officers of Tehsildar, Block Development Officer, Zonal Education Officer and other offices. He reviewed the staff position, functioning and service delivery mechanisms, emphasizing efficiency and accountability in public service.
Later, the SDM visited the Chasana–Gota road being executed under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. He took stock of the ongoing work and expressed concern over the inconvenience faced by the public due to the damaged stretch. The SDM instructed the concerned officials to expedite the completion of the restoration work at the earliest. He further directed the concerned agencies to augment manpower and machinery to speed up the work, while strictly maintaining the quality standards.
The SDM reiterated the administration’s commitment to ensuring timely completion of development works and delivery of efficient public services to the people.
