KULGAM, APRIL 20: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Shahzad Ahmad, today chaired a meeting at the Mini-Secretariat to review the status of works under District Capex 2025–26 and discuss preparation of the District Capex Budget Plan for 2026–27.
During the meeting, the DDC took a detailed review of the progress of various developmental works being executed by different departments across the district.
He emphasized the need for effective planning, proper coordination among departments and timely completion of projects.
The DDC directed all concerned officers to prepare the District Capex Plan for 2026–27 in a comprehensive manner, ensuring that projects with maximum public benefit and developmental impact are prioritized.
He further stressed the importance of identifying key infrastructure gaps and proposing works that address the genuine needs of the people, while ensuring transparency and efficient utilization of resources.
Various officers including, Joint Director Planning, Assistant Commissioner Development, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, , Chief Medical Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Executive Engineers of different departments and other district officers attended the meeting.
