Jammu: Two army personnel were injured when a soldier’s service rifle fired accidentally on Wednesday inside a camp in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
A police official said that the incident took place in Galthi of Manjakot area when the National Rifles jawans were taking off their weapons according to the protocol after returning from operational duty.
He said that two soldiers were injured by mistake and they were admitted to the hospital. The official said that it was not clear immediately whether the injured soldiers also include the bullet from the weapon.
