Narwal Police today apprehended six Rohingyas who have entered Jammu from Bangladesh illegally. It has been observed that despite Police action, Illegally Rohingyas and Bangladeshi nationals are entering Jammu and Kashmir either illegally or on forged documents. It seems these Rohingyas and Bangladeshi nationals are coming to Jammu illegally in connivance with some touts who are indulged in human trafficking. There are uncorroborated reports that some Organisations wanted to settle down Rohingyas and Bangladeshi Nationals in Jammu with motive to effect demographic changes of Jammu province. It is difficult comprehend Rohingyas are coming to Jammu after crossing so many states. There is also need to identify people who are providing them illegal plots with some ulterior motives.
Administration need to come out of deep slumber to arrest this trend.
There are also inputs that some Rohingyas who are involved in terrorist activities are finding Jammu a safe heaven. Not illegal Rohingyas but also plot incharges in Jammu need to be sent detection centre.
