STRONG INDIA MUST FOR PEACE
It is a known fact that India needs to be strong militarily, politically and strategically to ensure peace in the Indian Sub-Continent because several other nations in the region are proving to be problematic and only this country can deter those entities against their misadventures as rightly asserted by the President Droupadi Murmu during her address to the joint session of Parliament on the first day of Budget Session. The head of the country has aptly pointed out that lasting peace is possible only when India is politically and strategically strong. India since ages believes in peaceful dwelling but the expansionist China and world’s terror hub Pakistan are habitual of disrupting peace in the region forcing India to take appropriate steps to make sure that its prowess can deter these countries along with others from disrupting peace and creating mayhem as is seen in eastern Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh and of course along LoC where day in day out rogue Pakistan is trying to export terror and tumult to this side of the border in order to satiate and carry out its nefarious designs meant for denting the interests of the country through terrorism and separatism. Country’s lingering border row with China in Ladakh as well as the challenges of Pakistan-backed cross-border terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir have made it imperative for the country to remain on tenterhooks all the time and going by this critical situation India has taken several remarkable steps to fortify borders and ensure robust internal security so that enemies of the nation whether sitting across the orders or within could not cause any kind of damage. The President’s assertion that befitting response was given to every misadventure from LoC (Line of Control) to LAC (Line of Actual Control) is true to the hilt as India has contained both adversaries on these two border distinguishing lines from continuing with their reprehensible acts against the people of the country. There is no doubt that the government has raised state of the art border infrastructure in the last few years making it nearly impossible for the enemies to even think about any kind of misadventure on this side of the borders. Making India militarily strong should be the priority of the government because only this factor can deter effectively the neighbouring countries from indulging in anti-India activities and realizing their expansionist plans.
