Ramban: 25th Jan 2023: Bharat Jodo Yatra is continuously moving towards Kashmir. Travel in Ramban district continued to be affected due to heavy rains. Rahul left for Delhi after the yatra was suspended in the afternoon.
Bharat Jodo Yatra started late after heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban. A large number of people gathered in this. Amidst the bitter cold, the padyatra started moving towards Kashmir but due to continuous bad weather, it was postponed. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh tweeted that the yatra was canceled after noon due to bad weather and landslides in Ramban. The march will resume on January 27 at 8 am. Shortly after the postponement of the march, Rahul Gandhi left for Delhi.
Amidst tight security and rain, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra reached Ramban on Tuesday after traveling 10 km from Malad Mor in Udhampur. After heavy rains in Ramban on Wednesday, many places on the yatra route were waterlogged.
