In the election year, the state BJP has started preparations on a large scale to win the upcoming elections under Mission Jammu and Kashmir. Along with all the five Lok Sabha seats, in-charges have been fixed for all the 90 assembly seats.
Also instructed that the in-charge will stay in each assembly constituency for at least eight days in a month. Apart from this, expansionists and coordinators have also been appointed. The extension will remain in the respective VIS areas only. Local leaders have been made coordinators.
In the presence of National General Secretary Organization BL Santosh, the names of in-charges, expanders and coordinators were announced. Party sources told that Sunil Sethi, in-charge of Udhampur Lok Sabha and Ramesh Sharma, ex-district president of Ramban, and Kuldeep Dubey of Jammu will be in-charge and Harinder Gupta, convenor.
Mohammad Rafiq Chishti has been made in-charge of Anantnag-Poonch and Advocate Wajahat has been made coordinator, Surinder Ambardar in-charge of Srinagar, Arif Raja as coordinator, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi in-charge of Baramulla parliamentary seat and Anwar Khan as coordinator.
According to sources, in-charges have been nominated for all the 43 seats in Jammu division. Everyone has been asked to strengthen the party in their respective constituencies. Put full force for the first election to be held after the removal of Article 370.
