The work in District Court Jammu remain suffered as Advocates abstained from work in protest against terrorist Attack at Rajouri
On the call of the J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu the Lawyers in large number took out procession in the court premises, Janipur, Jammu raising slogans against Pakistan and the anti-national forces who opened fire on three houses of Pakistan occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PoJK) refugees in Dangri village in Rajouri district on Sunday evening responsible for the killings of four innocent civilians and injuring several others citizens of India.
The JKHCBAJ, has suspended work in all the courts, tribunals, commissions, revenue courts on 04-01-2023 i.e. Wednesday whole day against the killings of innocent and unarmed civilians including children in village Upper Dhangri in Rajouri district which has shaken every civilized citizen of the society in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. This, after targeted killings of a section of the employees in Kashmir, has exposed the incompetence of the administration in protecting lives of innocent citizens.
The JKHCBAJ is of the opinion that if such incidents are not curbed by the U.T. administration of J&K in future, then the J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu will have no other option except to intensify the protest / agitation and will appeal to the people of Jammu for Jammu Bandh.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. M.K. Bhardwaj, Sr. Adv. & President J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu strongly condemned Pakistan for carrying on the policy of enmity against India and harboring terrorists on its soil and using them to threaten the life of the people & security forces in U.T. Government of J&K. Pakistan, who has failed to provide democracy and development to its people, has no business to disturb our peace in the U.T. of J&K.
Members of the J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu have taken a very serious view of the failure of the present U.T. Government of Jammu & Kashmir in saving the innocent lives and liberty of the people. The U.T Government of Jammu & Kashmir has failed to completely check the perpetrators of such attacks. Such types of attacks by the militants are aimed to terrorize the innocent people of U.T. of J&K.
The Bar Association has also taken a serious view of the fact that the attack on three houses of Pakistan occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PoJK) refugees in Dangri village in Rajouri district on Sunday not possible without support of some sleeper cells. The Jammu and Kashmir Bar Association, Jammu described the act of the militants as a coward act in which the innocent persons and even the children have been targeted. The persons involved in causing such incident be immediately arrested and prosecuted in accordance with law.
The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association (JKHCBA) is enraged over this latest act of terrorism perpetrated by Pakistan from across the border. It becomes incumbent upon the civil society of Jammu region to jointly stand up in condemning this atrocious act and raise voice demanding justice for the victim families.
The JKHCBAJ, demand immediate ex-gratia relief and government job to at least one member of each family who have borne the brunt of this terrorist attack.
The Association has called upon the U.T. Government to take stern action against the anti-national forces as well as against the neighboring country Pakistan to prevent them from repeating similar acts in future also. JNF
