Samba: Border Security Force and Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel have once again foiled Pakistan’s nefarious plan. After two infiltration attempts on the Indo-Pak international border failed, Pakistan once again took the help of drones to deliver weapons to the terrorists, but the alert BSF and JKP jawans did not allow this plan of Pakistan to succeed. Jawans have recovered a cache of arms during a search operation in Garhwal Panchayat of Ramgarh sector adjacent to the border in district Samba. SSP Samba has confirmed that these weapons have been thrown into the Indian border from Pakistan with the help of drones.
Let us tell you that during the last few days, several infiltration attempts have been made from Pakistan side in the areas adjacent to the international border in Jammu division. Recently, BSF jawans had also killed an intruder in Arnia. While an intruder was also arrested in Ramgarh sector of district Samba. However, the infiltrators were handed back to Pakistan after questioning.
BSF officials said that these attempts to infiltrate the border are being made not only from the ground but also from the sky with the help of drones. After this nefarious antics of Pakistan, the process of patrolling on the border was increased. For the last three days, BSF and Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel are conducting search operation. During this operation, the security forces got this cache of weapons from Garhwal Panchayat of Ramgarh sector. All these weapons were sealed in packets. The security forces took possession of the packet and opened it with great skill. Two pistols, four magazines, 60 rounds, 10 packets of Indian currency (five lakh), 2 batteries, a detonator and a lead have been recovered from the recovered weapons.
SSP Samba told that this packet has been thrown here with the help of drone from Pakistan. From where this packet was recovered, the distance of the border from here by air is about six kilometers. After getting these weapons and cash, inquiries are being made in the surrounding areas. It is feared that the terrorists coming to take these weapons may be present somewhere nearby.
