The synergy shown by the different wings of Jammu and Kashmir Police and of course the BSF is of the top class as cutting the tentacles of one of the terrorist groups, cops have arrested two suspects and recovered a consignment of arms and ammunition dropped through a drone along the International Border at Baspur Bangla in R S Pura sector. It has been said that the arms and ammunition consignment was dropped by a drone which came from across the border two days earlier. Now, when two suspects are in the clutches of police there is dire need to probe the case in such a way that roots of this entire nexus could be exposed and the kingpin and others involved in this crime should be brought to book. Considering the facts and figures of the aforesaid operation in which two suspects have been nabbed along with the recovery of arms and ammunition, the police and other agencies associated with this whole gamut deserve kudos and s special reward because they have successfully unearthed the plan to vitiate peace in the UT of J&K. Reportedly, the police followed certain leads and monitored movement of vehicles through CCTV footage after drone dropping and finally rounded up two suspects hailing from Doda and Camp Gole Gujaral. As the police has shared more information, these suspects were in touch with a Jammu based man now settled in Europe. Four pistols with eight magazines and 47 rounds were recovered from the suspects and it has been proved that there is a big nexus between people living in Jammu, Pakistan and some other countries just to disrupt peace efforts of the BJP Government led by PM Narendra Modi. This is not the first time that such a thing has happened in J&K as before also three such attempts have been foiled by the cops of JKP. The International Border in Jammu and Punjab sectors is vulnerable to such activity and therefore the government should install anti-drone systems along this stretch as human intervention is inadequate as seen in the recent cases including the latest one. All said and done, the work done by police in this case is exemplary and therefore those behind this failsafe operation should be given recognition as well as reward to boost their morale and that of others also.
