BIG STATEMENT
The significant statement given by the Home Minister Amit Shah comprehensively portrays the true picture of the situation in J&K as the minister has aptly said that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is such that those who used to hurl stones at security personnel earlier have now become Panchs and Sarpanchs. This is true to the hilt and the credit for this pleasant change in J&K especially the Valley goes to none other than the dynamic Prime Minister Narendra Modi who took extraordinary initiatives and keen interest in resolving the Kashmir Issue once and for all and today the UT of J&K has turned into the most favourable place for the tourists both native and those coming from abroad. What is unbelievable this season was the fact that the hotels, lodges and the houseboats, all remained packed during the entire summer season and the reports are suggesting that the winter will also be awesome for the stakeholders dealing with tourism as already visitors have thronged Valley to have a splendid view and feel of rustic Kashmir during autumn season, which is considered as a feat for the tourists worldwide. The path-breaking journey of Kashmir from terrorism to tourism is just because of the vision of the BJP leadership with PM Modi and HM Amit Shah playing the lead roles and doing things which leaders of other political parties would have never even thought of doing. This achievement by the BJP Government led by PM Modi has changed the course of the life of people in J&K and every bit of the initiatives taken by this dispensation will be noted down in the annals of the history with golden words. It is pertinent to mention that the Home Minister Amit Shah while addressing top police and paramilitary commanders at the National Police Memorial in New Delhi’s Chanakyapuri area on the occasion of the National Police Commemoration Day has said that security situation in J&K and the northeast besides states affected by Naxal violence has improved in the last eight years of the Narendra Modi government. There is no doubt in the assertion made by the Home Minister and J&K is testimony to this fact as development, tourism, prosperity and peace have been improved drastically in the last eight years with people’s hopes touching skies aspiring for more as they have started reposing faith in the leadership of PM Modi, who has done wonders in J&K.
