DEVELOPMENT AS NEVER BEFORE
There is no doubt that lately the people in Jammu were complaining about dilapidated road infrastructure as the same was in dismal condition but now the LG Manoj Sinha has took up the matter and has launched fourteen Smart city projects in Jammu worth Rs 113 crore and it is likely that all the grievances of the people will get eliminated in one go. The working style of LG’s administration is fantastic as it is more interested in executing works and less in trumpeting about the things which are being accomplished. One can say with full affirmation that it is the first time when J&K has got such a dispensation which is working efficiently but without longing for appreciation. Truly the LG Sinha’s working model is phenomenal as he has been ensuring development in bulk with people getting all amenities without any hassle or break. The 14 projects would create a smart living by improving the quality of life, providing better public services, giving opportunities for local economic development, and ensuring easier accessibility to everyone. This is really a great initiative as people who till recently were asking for good road infrastructure are being promised lot more than that as the process of making Jammu the Smart City is on full swing and each passing day is bringing good news for the people of the temple city. It is however necessary that the people should cooperate and participate in government efforts to make J&K’s cities and towns resilient, competitive, and dynamic with strong social infrastructure to tackle the challenges of growing urbanization. As far as Jammu is concerned, under the Smart City project, it will get maximum green space to provide succor to its residents. the way the works are being taken up by the J&K Governemnt, one can say with confidence that it is time which matters now as sooner than later the Jammu Smart city will be a reality with amenities and basic necessities coming to citizens without any hitch or hassle. The development which the J&K is witnessing is extraordinary and the time has come for the people to express their gratitude to the centre led by PM Narendra Modi and UT government working under the guidance of LG Sinha.
