A sensational case has come to light in Tawi Vihar Siddha this morning. Panic has been created in the area after the bodies of six people belonging to two families were found from two different houses in a locality. The police department has not said anything clearly in this regard. All the bodies have been kept in the mortuary of the Jammu Government Medical College Hospital. Police say that they will be able to make statements in this regard only after the post-mortem report comes. An investigation team has been constituted under the leadership of SP Rural Sanjay Sharma to bring out the truth of the matter. SDPO Nagrota Pradeep Kumar, SHO Nagrota Inspector Vishwa Pratap and SI Majid Hussain IC PP Siddha have been included in this team.
Police said that he was called from Srinagar by a woman, who gave her name as Shahzada daughter Habibullah Bhat resident of 900 Bhat House, Barzulla Srinagar. She told that she has been calling her brother Noor ul Habib for a long time, but he is not picking up. He expressed his apprehension that if something happened to him, he had not been done. He told that his brother Siddha lives in Tawi Vihar.
As soon as the information was received, the team of Police Station Nagrota and Police Outpost Siddha reached the spot along with SHO Nagrota Inspector Vishwa Pratap and SI Siddha Majid Hussain. He found that the doors of the house were locked from inside. On closer look, they started smelling bad smell from the house. The police forcibly broke the doors of the house in the presence of the local people of Tawi Vihar Colony Siddha. The police were shocked to see that four bodies were lying in the said house. On this a team of FSL and photographers of crime section of PCR were called there. After collecting evidence and other samples from the spot, the bodies were sent for post-mortem.
In the preliminary investigation, the police found that it could be a case of poisoning. But it is a matter of investigation whether this poison was given forcibly or not. Of the four bodies found on the spot, the first body is that of Noor ul Habib son Habibullah, Sakina Begum wife Late Ghulam Hasan, her daughter Nassema Akhtar daughter Late Ghulam Hassan and Sajjad Ahmed son Farooq Ahmed Magre. When the police talked to the neighbors, it came to know that Sakina Begum’s house is another. When the police team reached there for investigation, they found two bodies lying there too.
These bodies were of Sakina Begum’s son Zafar Saleem and daughter Rubina Bano. These six bodies found from different houses have left the police confused. The police are still expressing their inability to say anything. SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli, who reached the spot, said that it is too early to say anything. It will be clear only on the basis of the facts that emerge from the post-mortem report and investigation whether it is suicide or murder.
ll the six bodies have been sent to GMC Jammu for post-mortem. They will be handed over to the next of kin after the legal formalities.
