Target Killing in Kashmir: Terrorists fired bullets at Kashmiri Hindu brothers working in apple orchards, one killed and the other serious

The targeting of non-Muslims in Kashmir is not taking its name to stop. On Tuesday, terrorists once again opened fire on two Kashmiri Hindu brothers. In this attack, one brother died on reaching the hospital while the condition of the other remains critical. So far no terrorist organization has claimed responsibility for this attack, while it is feared that Lashkar’s hit Squat TRF may be behind this attack.

The attack took place at Chotigam in Shopian when Sunil Kumar’s son Arjun Nath and his brother Pintu Kumar were working in their apple orchard near their house. Then the armed terrorists arrived there and they fired indiscriminately on both of them. After carrying out the attack, the terrorists escaped from the spot and after hearing the sound of gunfire, when the people around reached the spot, both the brothers were found lying in a pool of blood. Both were immediately rushed to the local hospital but after the investigation, the doctors found Sunil Kumar there. Declared brought dead.

Another brother, Pintu Kumar, who was seriously injured in the attack, has been admitted to the hospital, while after this attack, the police and army have started a siege and search for the terrorists. Security forces are apprehensive that the terrorists will be hiding somewhere in the surrounding area after the attack.

Cases of target killing are continuously coming to the fore in Kashmir and this is the reason why non-Kashmiri and Kashmiri Hindus working in Kashmir have also reached Jammu. These personnel have also been protesting for the last three months demanding the government to provide them security. Late on Monday also, terrorists had hurled a grenade at Gopalpora in Budgam district of Kashmir in which a member of the minority community was injured.
