Elections will be held soon in Jammu and Kashmir: Rajnath Singh

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has also indicated that assembly elections will be held soon in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that in Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP has big responsibilities on its shoulders. Party leaders and workers should now work 24 hours to prepare for the assembly elections as elections can be held soon in the state.

Rajnath Singh, who is on a visit to Jammu, instilled new enthusiasm among the party leaders and workers by holding a meeting at the party headquarters in Trikutanagar in the afternoon. He said that the party is progressing continuously in Jammu and Kashmir. In such a situation, work is also sure to increase.

They discussed the situation after abrogation of Article 370, 35A, the political situation in Jammu and Kashmir after delimitation of assembly constituencies, security of party workers in Kashmir. The issue of delay in making quarters for Kashmiri Hindus in Kashmir also arose. Rajnath Singh had reached Jammu around 10.40 am. After the meeting at the BJP office, the Defense Minister returned to Delhi at around 3.30 pm.
