An Army Officer suffered injuries on Monday when a landmine exploded close to the Line of Control(LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Army troops were patrolling this afternoon when the officer inadvertently stepped over the landmine and it exploded in the Saujiyan area of Poonch” defence sources said.
They said that the officer had suffered injuries and has been hospitalized.
Earlier, on May 25, one soldier was injured due to landmine blast in Krishna Ghati area of Poonch.
