PEACE, DEVELOPMENT ON CARDS
There is no doubt that the work done by the J&K administration for restoring peace is unmatched because earlier the governments in J&K used to buy the good times. The day when BJP government led by PM Narendra Modi took over the reins of the country things changed drastically and today the change has reached another level with security forces engaged in destroying terror ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir as encounters day in day out are the testimony to this fact. During the rally of PM Modi, LG Sinha lauded Jammu and Kashmir Police, Army and other security forces for the exemplary work being done by them. The things which J&K has witnessed after the Modi government took over the charge of the country are unparalleled and people are more than satisfied after the long pending demand of ‘Ek Vidhaan, Ek Nishaan’ was fulfilled by the Prime Minister who made 1.20 crore people of J&K as partner of real development in the UT. The era post abrogation of Article 370 can be called as the renaissance period for J&K as development is apace and restoring peace is almost done. The BJP government’s Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas has removed prejudice on the basis of religion, region or class in the UT of J&K and for this people of the UT must thank the Modi government as it was this dispensation which ensured discrimination-free atmosphere in the region which earlier was lop-sided and full of discrimination. The LG’s statement that during last 32 months, Jammu and Kashmir has been marching towards a new era because of the commitment of the Prime Minister to take it to new heights of development is true to the hilt as in the last six months 80 lakh tourists visited Jammu and Kashmir breaking the record of the last 15 years. It can be said with satisfaction that Jammu and Kashmir is not only marching ahead but competing with developed States of the country though previously it used to be far behind in different rankings. The affinity of PM Modi towards the UT of J&K is behind this most deserving change in the UT and people should thank Prime Minister Modi for taking much needed steps.
