In the Army Cheetah helicopter crash in Jammu and Kashmir, one of the two pilots has lost his life while the other one is injured.
An Army helicopter crashed on Friday in Tulail area of Gurez in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district. Officials said that an army helicopter was on patrol in Gujran Nala area of Gurez Valley. It crashed due to a sudden fault.
After this the rescue operation has been started. Sources said that the identity of the pilot and the co-pilot is being ascertained . earlier It was believed that the pilot and co-pilot ejected safely but the officials did not give any information about this. But with the passage of time it came to know that one of the two pilots has lost his life
SDM Gurez said that the helicopter had lost contact before the accident. The reasons are being ascertained.
