PIL regarding restriction in movement of vehicles inside local area of Pahalgam

JKUT (Jammu), November-30-2021-( JNF):- In a petition filed by Himalaya Welfare Organization espousing public interest and is seeking implementation of the executive instructions passed by the respondents No. 6 and 7 so that the environment of Pahalgam Tourist Resort is protected and there is restriction in movement of vehicles inside local area of Pahalgam.
A Division Bench of Jammu & Kashmir High Court Comprising Chief Justice Pankaj Mithal and Justice Mohd Akram Chowdhary directed the Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, is called upon to file an affidavit as to the steps which are being contemplated to ease-out traffic flow in the area. The affidavit may be filed within a month. JNF
