Mumbai, Feb 8 : The Rupee on Monday declined by four paise to settle at 72.96 against the US Dollar on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said. The local unit that opened higher by four paise to 72.85 fell by four paise to finish at 72.96 as compared to its last close.
The rupee registered intra days high and low at 72.99
and 72.81 respectively, he added.
