Annual Training Camp is going on at NCC Camping Ground Nagrota from 18-24 Oct 2020. Total 203 NCC cadets from associated Schools and Degree Colleges of Jammu region participated in the camp. Training activities like firing, Drill, Field craft and obstacle training were organized to impart holistic training to the cadets.
In addition, cadets were also exposed to disaster management activities conducted under the aegis of Civil Defense Jammu and by Norcotic department on drug abuse. Special emphasis was laid on Hygiene and sanitation during camp.
Each cadet was tested for covid and all precautions were adhered. The cadets carried out training activities with lot enthusiasm and spirit. Additional Director General JK &L Directorate Maj Gen N K Airy and Group Commander Jammu Brigadier Satish Kumar visited the camp to oversee the training activities and motivated the cadets. Cadets also showcased their talent in cultural activities.
Prizes and certificates were given to outstanding cadets in each activity.
