Ishfaq Jabbar addressed party workers in Ganderbal urges them to reach out to people

Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Senior Leader and former MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar has asked his workers to act as a bridge between the party leadership and the people for their welfare and progress.In a statement issued here, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar while addressing party bearers in Gulabbagh Ganderbal after first time after the abrogation of Article 70 described National Conference as a movement of the people rather than a mere political party.He asked party workers to give a “befitting reply” to detractors by exhibiting unity, solidarity and commitment to the public welfare.”You need to render extraordinary service to people to mitigate their difficulties and act as a bridge between the party leadership and the people through welfare ,” Jabbar, who is also district president of the National Conference, said.”You are the torch bearers of great legacy of Sher-i-Kashmir, Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah and his companions.Mr Jabbar said National Conference has passed through many vicissitudes and faced various challenges of the time successfully.”The party and its workers have always steered people of Jammu and Kashmir through difficult periods by giving great sacrifices,” he said.He was accompanied by working committee members of the party.
