A woman died by suicide on Friday by consuming some poisonous substance in the central Kashmir district of Badgam, official sources said.
The woman has not been identified, as per the sources. She consumed a poisonous substance at her home at village Namtihall, at Chadoors in Badgam.
When found unconscious, her family members rushed her to a hospital, declared brought dead.
Police has registered a case and initiated proceedings.
