Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan speaks in the Rajya Sabha about the Coronavirus pandemic. He explains that the ministry has been monitoring and tracking the COVID virus in India.
He further talks about comparing the numbers of COVID with the United States and Brazil, the numbers are more than India. He says that the numbers of US and Brazil are five-six times more than India. He also talks about how India’s mortality rate is low and it stands at 1.64 percent.
He also says that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is monitoring all the developments in the field of medical research pertaining to the COVID virus. He is hopeful that the vaccine will be ready by early next year and the health ministry is working continuously to prepare the COVID vaccine.
