Ishfaq Jabbar seeks compensation for fire accident victim

 

Srinagar 11 Aug: Inspecting the spot in which a cotton mill was gutted in a fire on Monday in Chanthan Gulapora area of Central Kashmir’s , Ganderbal district the National Conference Senior Leader and former MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar has demanded that the owner must be compensated so that he can continue his work as he had acquired loan to raise the factory.

Mr Jabbar today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the incident of fire at Chathan and said he stood in solidarity with the Ishfaq Ahmed Qureshi S/O Mir Zamaan Qureshi.

Demanding adequate compensation and immediate and dignified rehabilitation of the owner of the factory without any delay, the NC Leader and former MLA Ganderbal took stock of the damages caused.

He assured the owner Ishfaq Ahmed Qureshi that he would take up the issue of compensation with the higher ups.

“It is miraculous that no one was hurt yesterday. Adequate safety measures should be ensured in future,” he added.
