156 Fresh Cases Reported In JK, Total Tally Now 4730

As many as 156 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Kashmir while one death was reported from Jammu on Friday, taking the total caseload of the Union Territory of J&K to 4,730.

So far, 53 people have died of COVID-19 in the Union Territory, which includes 47 in Kashmir and six in Jammu.

“In Jammu and Kashmir, 156 new positive cases have been reported since our last update on Thursday. They include 88 from the Jammu division and 68 from the Kashmir division. Also, one COVID-19 death has been reported from Jammu division,” read a government’s bulletin on COVID-19 issued on Friday.

At least, 266 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals of Jammu and Kashmir, it said.
