Despite the threat of coronavirus Indian Army has not let it adversely affect its operational efficiency, instead the Army has so strengthened the anti-infiltration grid that all attempts of Pak army backed infiltration by the terrorists have been thwarted at the Line of Control (LoC) itself. There are reports of about 300 terrorists waiting in the launch pads with many of them reportedly corona positive. Pakistan better watch out because Indian Army these days prefers to neutralise the terrorists and their supporters in the launch pads itself stated Brig Anil Gupta, Spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party in a press release issued here today.
“BJP salutes all soldiers who are deployed on the front line and are .guarding the nation’s borders by bearing the brunt of unprovoked ceasefire violations (CFVs) by Pakistan. The Indian Army soldiers are not only giving befitting reply to the enemy but are also contributing towards nation’s fight against corona by ensuring the safety of frontline corona warriors busy in fighting the deadly virus across the country.” The credit also goes to the men and officers of Indian Army, CRPF and JKP who are operating with seamless integration while conducting successful joint anti-terror operations in the hinterland. All this is being achieved while they are busy in assisting the civil administration in management of the pandemic within the UT stated Brig Gupta.
“The professionalism and the daunting spirit of the security forces can be gauged from the fact that in the current month more than 25 terrorists have been killed by them so far. In the just ended week the tally rose to 14 in one week itself, which is indicative of the high morale of security forces and very high standards of physical fitness and training. No amount of praise would be adequate for the successes achieved by the security forces personnel and professionalism displayed by them,” as per the press release.
Brig Gupta said that there has been a sea change in the performance of JKP in the recent times. In the last two weeks JKP men not only successfully thwarted the weapon snatching attempts but also in dare-devil style chased and either apprehended or neutralised the terrorists involved. This is a big departure from the past when weapon snatching was reported with meek surrender by the threatened policemen. The changed behaviour of JKP personnel is indicative of a very high morale prevalent in the force post the reorganisation of the state asserted Brig Gupta.
“No political interference has allowed the force to display its true potential” said Brig Gupta while complimenting the DG and team of his officers and other ranks in JKP. BJP also appreciates the fact that the DGP of J&K had singular honour of being adjudged among the top 25 IPS officers of the country. The press release also highlighted the fact that recently Home Minister Amit Shah jihad also in a telephonic message to the DGP conveyed his deep appreciation for services rendered by all ranks of JKP in ensuring the lockdown and also conveyed his compliments for good CT/L&O management in J&K.
