SOG Poonch on Wednesday recovered cache of arms and ammunition from an hideout in Sheendhara area of Poonch district.
SSP Poonch Ramesh Angral here said that SOG party of Poonch led by DySP Operations Poonch launched a search operation in the upper area of Sheendhara forest.
“During search operation a hideout was busted and weapons were recovered. Recovery includes one AK 47 rifle, 3 AK magazines, 43 AK rounds, one Chinese Pistol, one Pistol Magazine, one Pouch.
In this regard an FIR has been registered in Poonch Police station under relevant sections of law and investigation taken up.
