Shridhar Patil has taken over the charge as Jammu SSP by replacing his predecessor Tejinder Singh.
The officer belongs to 2010 IPS batch of J&K cadre. During his service tenure, Patil remained on many important posts and was posted as Kathua SSP prior to this.
Patil said he would work in a result-oriented manner. He said we have to act proactively and put collective efforts to match the expectations of the general public.
The officer said the Jammu police would work as a team for the betterment of the society in cooperation with the general public. It was emphasised that prompt service for the redressal of genuine grievances would be ensured.
