Pakistan troops on Saturday once again violated the ceasefire by carrying out unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
A Defence spokesperson said that at about 1545 hrs, Pakistan initiated unprovoked firing through small arms firing and shelling with mortars along the LoC in Degwar sector of Poonch.
”The Indian Army is retaliating befittingly,” he said.
Last week also, Pakistani troops had violated the ceasefire by firing across the LoC upon Indian posts along the Line of Control in Poonch and Rajouri districts.
