BJP will hold several programmes across the region on “Samarpan Diwas” on Feb 11, this was disclosed by J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina, while he addressed meeting of party’s District Presidents at Jammu.
Ravinder Raina was also accompanied by party General Secretary Yudhvir Sethi, while he chaired the meeting of party leaders conducted at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Ravinder Raina, said that the Samarpan Diwas is observed by BJP every year to commemorate the contributions of its founder leaders and great ideologue Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhaya on his Death Anniversary.
Raina, emphasized that the great leader always insisted that there must be honesty in the public life and all the political parties must set an example for the same by adopting and inculcating the culture of cleanliness in their accounts. He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is the biggest advocate of clean financial resources of the political parties and for this; he has revolutionized the system of payments through the recorded means avoiding big sums in cash for the same. He asked all the district Presidents to ensure the organization of “Samarpan diwas” programmes in every District and take the message to the grass root level that we have to practice “Shuchita” in our behavior.
Ravinder Raina, said that the teachings of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay on “Integral Humanism” has inspired millions for greater reforms in the public life. And we must promote talks on this principle to take this thought to the masses. He said that the ground where we stand today has been irrigated and strengthened by patriotic leaders like Upadhyay Ji and the true tribute to him would be to devote time for society and educate the people about his principles and ideology. He said that whatever Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay did for the society was splendid and would remain a source of inspiration for the generations to come.
District Presidents Vinay Gupta, Manish Khajuria, H.S. Pammy, Amar Singh, Rajinder Gupta, Prem Nath Dogra, Mohd. Rafiq Chishti, Rajinder Singh Chib, Puran Chand, Krishan Lal, T. N. Bhat, Mohan Singh Rana and others attended the meeting.
