JK Montessorie Sen. Sec. School and its affiliated unit JK Little Millennium school celebrated 71st Republic Day with great interest ,enthusiasm and Patriotic zeal in the school ground here today.
The patriotic fervor warmed up the cold winter morning as the management teachers and children of the school enthusiastically gathered to hoist the national flag.
Sh. Sanjay Baru, Municipal Councillor was the chief guest of the occasion while Smt. Neelam Nargotra, Muncipal Councillor , Smt. Rajni Gupta Managing Director of the School was the guest of honour.
The Programme started with the lightening of lamp by chief guest and other dignitaries present on the occasion.
This Day celebrated by putting up a cultural show comprising different patriotic speeches , patriotic group songs , patriotic group dances & skit.
Sh Sanjay Baru, Municipal Councillor & State Secretary BJP emphasized the importance of the heritage of the freedom struggle and contemporary challenges to the freedom today . He also stressed on the role of the youth in taking the nation forward. He urged every student to work with honesty and dedication for the nation and not to be mislead leading to unnecessary violence.
Principal of the school Mrs. Geeta Dixit in her address to the students expressed pride in the rich cultural past of the country . The programme concluded with national anthem and the management distributed sweets among the students.
