JAMMU SANSKRITI SCHOOL, JAMMU ORGANISES COLLAGE MAKING

Although we don’t need an occasion to celebrate life but we do need festivals to celebrate life with exuberance. In this journey called life we believe in providing opportunities to our children wherein they can explore the ways in which national and religious festivals are celebrated throughout the world. This was initiated through discussion by Ms Randeep Kour (PGT, Political Science) who apprised the children about various national and religious festivals celebrated in India, Nepal and Myanmar.

This was followed by collection of photographs in which children clicked photographs of celebration of festivals. Ensuing this, a collage making competition was organized in the school premises under the supervision of Ms Shruti Verma in which children prepared collage with the photographs they have clicked and collected through various modes.

Speaking on the event, Ms Rohini Aima Principal cum Vice Chairperson of the school asserted that the purpose of celebrating any festival in any country is to acquaint the masses about the reason behind celebrating the same whether religious or national and to respect the sentiments involved there in. The whole activity was conducted under the supervision of ISA Co-ordinator Ms. Munmun Kohli.
