The Government has appointed two board members of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE).
In an order issued here by General Administration Department, the Government said in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 4 read with section 6 of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination Act, 2002, the Government hereby appoint the following as members, Jammu and Kashmir BOPEE for a period of two years or until they attain the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
The members appointed include GS Chib, KAS (Rtd.) and Prof Irshad Ahmad Wani, Principal (Rtd.).
The Government in its order directed that the members would be entitled to the last salary drawn at the time of retirement on superannuation reduced by pension and commuted portion of pension, if any.
“They shall also be entitled to the DA and other allowances and leave as admissible to Government officers of an equivalent rank,” the order issued by GAD reads.
