Today on 19/12/2019, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation Chander Mohan Gupta visited ware House areas alongwith Sh Laxman Singh Jamwal, Executive Engineer (Electric), Sh Talat Mehmood Chief Transport Officer, JMC and other officers of Jammu Municipal Corporation Sh Rattan Lal Gupta President ware house association, Deepak Gupta General Secretary, Sh Dheeraj Gupta Sr. Vice President, Sh Abhimanyu Gupta Cashier, Sh. Yash Pal Gupta President Retailers karyana union Jammu were also present during the tour . The association members put forth their major demands regarding lifting of large quantity of mulba lying near Floriculture park alongwith Bank of river Tawi behind Amar ujjala office installation as well as rectification of High mask lights in and around ware House area, strengthing of security as number of theft cases have been occurred in the market due to lack of proper security, maintaining of proper parking facility in the ware house to avoid continuous traffic congestion in this market.
Mayor assured the association that all their demands will be sorted out on war footing and directed the Chief Transport Officer & XEN (E) to immediately deploy their men and machinery immediately in the Ware House Area for redressed of genuine demands of the association. He also appeal to the gathering to cooperate with Jammu municipal Corporation and avoid selling as well as using of single used plastics and polythenes at their establishments and at their residence in maintaining eco environment atmosphere around their complex and plant more and more saplings in the area.
