Scouts & Guides students to attend National Integration Camp at West Bengal

 

To mark the 150th Birth Anniversary of Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, Bharat Scouts and Guides students of different schools left for Calcutta, West Bengal from Jammu to attend the National Integration Camp (Youth Programme).

Students comprising of Aaprajita Bhasin, Bhavya Sharma, Madhvi Sharma, Navya Sharma, Sukriti Kapoor, Dhron Bakshi, Krishaa, Nischal, Shivam Sharma, Randeep Singh, Jivika Gupta and Jenia Gupta were accompanied by their Scouts and Guides instructor Neelam aGuptand will attend the National Integration Camp from 15th December to 19th December.

Talking with Sree Times correspondent Aaprajita Bhasin said that on occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandi, students of Scouts and Guides have an opportunity to remind the humanity of the efficacy of the message of Mahatma Gandhi as Gandhi’s lessons are relevant in every policy of the country such as Swacch Bharat, rights of women and children, and of civil liberties.

It is worthwhile to mention here that as per the schedule Bharat Scouts and Guides is going to organize “National Integration Camp” of five days at Kolkata, West Bengal in which about 500 participants are taking place.

The Bharat Scouts and Guides is the national Scouting and Guiding association of India with a mission of contributing to the education of people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.
