Covid-19 lockdown: J&K govt postpones formal opening of Darbar in Srinagar till June 15

 

Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday postponed the formal opening of Darbar in Srinagar till June 15 in view of extension in lockdown period and spike in the number of Covid-19 cases.

The Darbar move which was earlier scheduled for May 03 will now take place on 15 June 2020, read an order issued by the government.

However, the civil secretariat at Srinagar would start functioning from May 3 partially with the staff/officers on “as is where basis”, added the order.
