JKBOSE Exams 2020 Postponed: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has postponed the class 10, 11 and 12 board examinations. According to the notification provided on the official website of the board the exams which were postponed until March 31, 2020, have now been postponed until further notice. Students who will be appearing for the class 10, 11 and 12 board exams of JKBOSE are advised to visit the official website for further updates.
According to the official notification available on the website, the examinations for the class 10, 11 and 12 students have been postponed further due to the lockdown imposed by the government due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country. The rescheduled dates of the examinations will be communicated to the students separately.
The other universities in the state including Cluster University in Srinagar and the Central University of Kashmir, Central University of Kashmir have also postponed their respective exams until further notice. The new dates for the postponed examinations will be provided on the official website as soon as the lockdown is revoked.
The 21-day lockdown was imposed by the government due to the COVID-19 spread in the country. Examinations which include board exams, as well as national level entrance examinations, have also been postponed by the respective boards due to the Coronavirus spread in the country.
Several state boards have also decided to promote the students from class 1 to 8 without appearing for the examinations. Teachers have also been asked to conduct online classes or given productive work to the students to work on during this time so that they do not waste time but instead work on some things which will then be checked by the teachers after the classes resume.
