A delegation of Transport Welfare Association Jammu on Sunday called on Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar and later, on the assurance of Advisor, they decided to suspend the strike of transporters scheduled to be observed from March 10.
The delegation, led by T S Wazir, Chairman, Transport Welfare Association, Jammu, also comprised of Vijay Kumar, Mohinder Singh, Manmohan Singh and Vijay Singh Chib besides representatives of various Transport Associations of Jammu.
They raised several issues and problems with the Advisor besides apprising him of various difficulties faced by the transporters on day to day basis in Jammu region.
