Bahu Fort Development Committee (Regd.) (BFDC) deputation comprising of President Kr. Rajeev Charak, Vice Chairman Advocate Ishant Gupta, Legal Advisor Advocate Varun Gupta & Vice President Krishan Chand Sharma express thanks to Hon’ble Advisor to Hon’ble Lt. Governor K.K. Sharma for taking prompt action towards their genuine demand for reintroduction of Amnesty Scheme for electricity bills which they have made during their meeting on 14th day of Feburary, 2020 at Convention Centre, Jammu.
Kr. Rajeev Charak said that their deputation apprised Hon’ble Advisor about various genuine issues includes Amnesty Scheme for Electricity Bills, Constitution of Shrine Board for Bawe Wali Mata Temple Bahu Fort and regularization of 10+2 Contractual Lecturers and they are highly thankful to Hon’ble Advisor for taking prompt and quick action for the reintroduction of Amnesty Scheme for Electricity Bills. He said that previously when the scheme introduced at that time consumers have to clear their arrears in single instalment which creates burden and hardship for the weaker and middle section of the society but on their request this time Amnesty Scheme in which the consumers now have to pay their arrears in three equal instalments. Kr. Rajeev Charak further added that it is a welcome step taken by Honb’le Lieutenant Governor G.C. Murmu for the welfare of consumers to prevent their disconnection of electricity by paying their arrears in three easy instalments and waived off interest and penalties.
Advocate Ishant Gupta thanked Hon’ble Advisor and appeal public to kindly avail the benefits of amnesty scheme introduced for their welfare and clear their arrears on time in three instalments and waive off their interest and penalties and also avoid disconnection of power supply.
Advocate Varun Gupta also thanked Hon’ble Advisor and hope that their demand for the constitution of Shrine Board for Bawe Wali Mata Temple will soon be fulfilled.
