ADC Bhaderwah reviews arrangements for Lavender Festival 2026

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sunil Kumar Bhutyal today chaired a meeting to review arrangements for 2-day Lavender Festival 2026 scheduled to be held on June 6 and 7 at Government Degree College Play Ground (GDC) Bhaderwah.

 

It was informed that union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh would inaugurate the festival on June 6. The event is expected to attract a large number of visitors, farmers, entrepreneurs, scientists and stakeholders associated with the lavender industry.

 

During the meeting, the ADC reviewed arrangements related to venue management, security, traffic regulation, sanitation, healthcare facilities, power and water supply, fire safety and other essential services. Officers were directed to ensure coordinated efforts for the successful conduct of the festival.

 

The meeting was attended by CEO, BDA Sanjeev Sharma, Tehsildar Kamalpreet Singh, SDPO Naveed Shokat Qazi, Treasury Officer Manmit Ganjoo, EO, Municipality Ravi Sani, Lavender Man of India Touqeer Bagwan and functionaries from departments of Agriculture, Horticulture, Health, R&B, Power Development, PHE, Fire & Emergency Services, Tourism Department and others.
