
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Shahzad Alam, today visited the under-construction Brazloo Bridge on the NH-444 project and reviewed the progress of works being executed on the vital road corridor.
During the inspection, the DC was informed by the executing agency that the Brazloo Bridge is nearing completion, with most of the construction work already finished. He directed the concerned officials to expedite the remaining works and ensure their timely completion so that the bridge can be dedicated to the public at the earliest.
The DC emphasized the importance of the bridge in improving connectivity and facilitating smoother movement of commuters along the NH-444 corridor.
He also took stock of the overall progress achieved under the NH-444 project and reviewed the status of ongoing works at various stretches. The concerned officers briefed him about the pace of execution and the measures being taken to ensure completion of the project within the targeted timeframe.
The DC instructed all stakeholders to work in close coordination and remove any bottlenecks hindering progress so that the project is completed efficiently for the benefit of the people.
