BJP Unit of Jammu West organized a massive public rally in Ward 35 of the Assembly segment in which top brass leadership of the party participated and interacted with hundreds of people present in the rally. The rally was mainly attended by State President BJP Ravinder Raina, State General Secretary (org.) Ashok Kaul, MP Jammu Poonch Jugal Kishore Sharma, Former Minister Sat Sharma (CA), Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta and others including Corporators from various Wards, party activists and inhabitants of Jammu West Constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravinder Raina lambasted the callous approach of parties like NC, Congress, PDP and stated that they do not want Jammu and Kashmir to prosper. He said they are responsible for the worst condition of J&K during their tenures and now when the nation has a hard working PM who thinks only about welfare of common man, they are spreading false propagandas which is not acceptable to people with Nationalist approach. He also appealed masses to trust the leadership of BJP and stated that it is the only party which is working for the betterment of society.
Ashok Kaul said by removing Article 370, BJP has delivered on the poll promise and with the abrogation of the same J&K will flourish like never before in coming times and many problems which persisted during the regimes of Congress and their alliance partners in J&K will be finished and a new dawn of development and peace which has already started in J&K under leadership of PM will continue to persist. He also talked about organizational activities in J&K and boosted the morale of party activists and asked them to reach at grass root level.
Jugal Kishore expressed his views on developmental aspects and stated that Jammu Poonch Parliamentary Constituency witnessed a major development in last five years and he will continue to work more to take it to the mark of a model Lok Sabha Constituency. He also announced to sanction Rupees 10 lakhs from his CDF for construction of a community hall in Ward 35 of Jammu West.
Sat Sharma said that CAA was a historic decision of Central Government and only Congress and its allies are spreading rumors regarding the law which gives citizenship rights to persecuted people in neighboring countries. He also highlighted the achievements and public welfare schemes of Narendra Modi led NDA government and its impact on thousands of people in Jammu West.
Chander Mohan Gupta also spoke on various policies of Central Government which changed lifestyle of common man.
