BHADERWAH, APRIL 10: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bhaderwah Sunil Kumar Bhutyal, who is also the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), today reviewed progress of the Special Summary Revision of the Panchayat Electoral Roll in the Sub Division.
Chairing a meeting, the ADC emphasized the importance of maintaining accuracy and transparency in the electoral process. He informed that all individuals who have attained the age of 18 years as of April 1, 2026, are eligible to register themselves in the Panchayat electoral roll. He directed the officers to ensure the addition, deletion and modification of entries within the stipulated time frame.
The meeting was attended by BDOs and Panchayat Election Booth Officers (PEBOs).
The Block Development Officer (BDO) attended the meeting in person, while BDOs from Bhalla, Chiralla and Bhalessa participated through virtual mode.
Stressing efficiency and accountability, he urged all concerned officials to work in coordination to achieve a flawless electoral database.
