Army organise Painting, Essay Writing Competition at Banihal

RAMBAN, APRIL 09: The Indian Army today organized a Painting and Essay Writing Competition with the aim of encouraging creativity, intellectual expression and holistic development among the youth of the region. The event witnessed active participation from students of Govt High School, Bankot in Banihal who showcased their talent and enthusiasm through art and writing.

The competition provided a vibrant platform for young participants to express their ideas, thoughts and perspectives on diverse themes relevant to society, nation-building and personal growth. Through their paintings, students displayed remarkable imagination and creativity, while the essays reflected thoughtful insights, clarity of expression and awareness of contemporary issues.

The event was conducted as part of the Indian Army’s continued efforts to engage with the local community and promote educational initiatives. It also aimed at fostering confidence, discipline and a sense of responsibility among the youth.

A panel of judges, comprising Army personnel and educationalists, evaluated the entries based on originality, creativity, relevance and presentation. The participants who excelled in their respective categories were awarded prizes in recognition of their efforts.
