
RAMBAN, APRIL 04: Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gool, who is also the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), today conducted an inspection of polling stations in Block Sangaldan including Polling Station Badhan, where special camps are being organized in connection with the ongoing Summary Revision of Panchayat Electoral Roll 2026.
During the visit, the SDM reviewed the arrangements put in place for the smooth conduct of the special revision camps and interacted with the field staff to assess the progress of electoral roll updation. He emphasized the importance of maintaining accuracy and transparency in the electoral rolls to ensure free and fair elections.
Special camps were organized across all polling stations of Sangaldan, Gundidharam and Gool Blocks. Booth Level Officers (BLOs), Panchayat Booth Extension Officers (PBEOs) and Village Level Workers (VLWs) were present at the camps to facilitate the collection of forms and assist residents in completing the necessary documentation for updating the electoral rolls.
The SDM appreciated the efforts of the field staff and directed them to ensure that no eligible voter is left unregistered. He also informed that similar camps will continue to be held on weekdays as per the schedule issued by the State Election Commission.
The administration remains committed to ensuring maximum public participation and the successful completion of the Panchayat Electoral Revision process.
