ANANTNAG, FEBRUARY 25: As part of the Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan, the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Cultural Unit Kashmir, in collaboration with Maraz Adbi Sangam and District Information Centre Anantnag, today organized a vibrant Mehfili Mushaira at Wazir Bagh.
The program aimed to create awareness about the drug abuse and sensitise the participants especially the younger generation about its drastic consequences.
Poets from the Adbi Sangam Maraz recited their poetry, highlighting the negative effects of drugs and other contraband substances on individual lives, families, and society. Through their verses, they also talked about the remedies to combat the drug menace.
Besides poets, the program was attended by officials of DIC Anantnag, local youth and general public.
