
PULWAMA, FEBRUARY 21: District Administration Pulwama today organised a Potential Entrepreneurship Mela under Mission YUVA at Tral.
The mela aimed to promote entrepreneurship, facilitate on-boarding under Mission YUVA, provide market linkages and showcase successful enterprises, particularly women-led ventures.
The mela was inaugurated by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Tral, Sajad Yehaya Naqash, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from local youth, entrepreneurs, Self-Help Groups and members of the public.
On the occasion, various departments including Industries, KVIB, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Horticulture, Handicrafts & Handloom and NRLM set up stalls to disseminate information regarding different welfare and livelihood schemes, providing on-the-spot guidance and awareness to participants.
A dedicated Help Desk/Grievance Redressal Desk was also established by the District Employment and Counselling Centre, Pulwama to facilitate onboarding, provide assistance and address grievances related to Mission YUVA.
During the mela, the ADC distributed sanction letters among beneficiaries under Mission YUVA. Addressing the gathering, he urged the youth to take full advantage of government schemes and transform their innovative ideas into sustainable enterprises. He reiterated that Mission YUVA serves as a transformative platform for nurturing entrepreneurial talent and strengthening the local economy.
